Swifts make an extraordinary journey to visit our shores every year, travelling over 6000 miles from Central Africa to breed here in the UK. and every day each pair will gather up to 20,000 insects to feed their chicks!
They live their lives almost exclusively on the wing and this is your chance to join local swift expert, John Crowther, who will take you on a guided walk around Minchinhampton town centre, spotting swifts in flight and identifying their nesting sites.
