Rewear Revolution

Join the Rewear Revolution! We'll be swapping clothes, selling preloved garments, and finding out how to make your fashion faves last for longer. We'll also be hosting a catwalk show, chatting about sustainable fashion with a local style icon, and enjoying an evening of browsing specially selected secondhand occasionwear, retro choices, and accessories.

We'll be adding more details very soon, but here's what you need to know now:

Taking place during Sustainable Fashion Week, Rewear Revolution is going to be BIG. We're teaming up with Trinity Rooms Community Hub, the Door, Creative Sustainability, and Transition Stroud (TS) Textile Group so we're reaping the benefits of partnership working to make a real impact on textile waste in Stroud.

If you've ever been to a Stroud Valleys Project Clothes Swap, Rewear Revolution will work a little like that... with bells on! You can bring your unwanted pieces to SVP's eco shop beforehand (dates to be confirmed) and then come along and choose new ones on the day.

What's different?

Rewear Revolution will take place at Trinity Rooms Community Hub and has two parts. During the day, everyone is welcome for a standard clothes swap, with clothes for every age and gender. You can either do a straight one-for-one exchange if you've brought clothes into the eco shop beforehand, or pick up new-to-you items for an affordable donation.

Then in the evening, we're cranking up the glam to 11. Our ticketed event will feature a trashion show of reclaimed and upcycled pieces transformed by the talents sewing maestros of TS Textiles Group, an intimate audience with a local fashion professional, and a curated collection of selected pieces available by donation. To make our soiree even more special, we'll be welcoming each guest with a delicious drink courtesy of Stroud's hottest bar, Holy Water.

We'll be releasing full details soon, but for now: start saving those clothes, shoes and accessories that you're just no longer feeling the love for, and keep your diary free!
