Rewear Revolution

As well as Trinity Rooms, we're teaming up with the Door, Creative Sustainability, and Transition Stroud (TS) Textile Group for this day-to-night event for Sustainable Fashion Week.

Clothes Swap: beforehand

Bring your clean, good quality, unwanted clothing, shoes and accessories to Stroud Valleys Project eco shop between Friday 19 and Friday 26 September. You’ll get a token to swap on the day. If you would struggle to get to the shop, we can arrange collection in our local area; drop an email to kerri@stroudvalleysproject.org.

We will be whisking away the best clothes for our evening event, where the focus is on fashion and fundraising.

Daytime (11am to 3pm); free

Clothes Swap A straight one-for-one if you have swapped beforehand, or pick up a bargain for a donation
Workshops Learn how to sew on a button, mend a tear or change a zip at our drop-in sessions. Bring along your clothes that need mending and our master seamstresses will show you how to give them a new lease of life
Stalls You’ll also be able to pick up new-to-you items from a secondhand selection and try out a sewing machine from In Stitches

Evening (6pm-9pm); admission by ticket or on the door

Welcome drink from Holy Water or Stroud Brewery plus licensed bar
Trashion show
of upcycled pieces transformed by the talented sewing maestros of Transition Stroud Textiles Group
An audience with… Amelia, founder of Stroud-based fashion house Lily & Me and Shalize of Emergence Restock
Curated collection of preloved clothing available by donation
Stalls from Nimpy Clothing, Lily & Me, the Door shop and more!

Tickets for the evening event are based on what you can afford; all monies go towards fundraising to help the community of Stroud through our five partner organisations.
