Join Stroud Valleys Project and expert willow weaver Sophie Buckley for this special event for women.
Sophie will be guiding you as you create a fish decoration from this flexible, sustainable natural material, learning a little about the history of willow and its importance in art and culture as we go.
The workshop will take place outside near Capel’s Mill in central Stroud (full location details are provided upon booking) and you are invited to bring picnic rugs or camping chairs to sit on.
This event is part of Cotswold Canals Connected’s Canal Reflections series of events, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
