Wild Flower and Nature Walk

Learn about the secret life of the old canal at Daneway and a very special woodland, with insider knowledge from local botanist Jude Smith. Jude has worked with the RSPB, WWT and Natural England, and on a host of other nature conservation projects.

Discover the wildlife that makes its home here, including birds and plants, and find out how the woodlands and wetlands around the canal together make for incredible biodiversity. We’ll hope to see (or hear!) species including Lily of the Valley, Yellow Archangel, Southern Wood Ant, Nuthatch and Pearl-bordered Fritillary.

We will do a short loop along the Thames & Severn Canal – note there are a couple of steep paths

No dogs please.

This event is presented in collaboration with Cotswold Canals Connected.
