Soil Day Bonanza - Free to all

Soil is pretty amazing stuff.  Not only does it support all our food growing, but it also stores carbon, helps prevent flooding, and is home to literally billions of tiny organisms that are vital for keeping the earth healthy.

Soil is in a bit of trouble though, with climate change, alterations in rain patterns, and poor land management practices threatening it’s, and by extension our, health.  But there are things that we can all do to help soil out!

Why not start by joining Stroud Valleys Project on the 3rd December for their Soil Day Bonanza to find out more about this wonder beneath our feet?
There will also be a host of organisations on hand in the afternoon to answer all your soil and composting questions.  So why not come along and get soil savvy with us?

This afternoon session is a FREE event and open to all. Stall holders will be selling wares, so feel free to bring along cash if you wish to purchase anything.

The event will be hosted by Stroud Brewery and is accessible to wheelchair users.
