July Linocutting Workshop

Are you aged between 7 and 11, or do you know someone who is? Do you enjoy being creative and eco-friendly at the same time?

Learn the art of linocutting in this fun session using upcycled Tetrapaks!

Amateur artist and qualified teacher Melissa Mayer will show participants how to safely using linocutting tools and demonstrate some designs featuring plants and animals. They will experiment with making linocuts before creating their own design.

They will then print it with ink and rollers so they have a finished artwork to take home.

This event runs from 10am to 3pm at National Trust Tinkley Gate in Nympsfield and is for children aged from 7 to 11. Parents can stay for some or all of the session if they wish.

Advance booking is essential as places are limited.

If cost is a barrier, please email us at info@stroudvalleysproject.org.
