The programme of natural history walks is designed for people who would like to carry on exploring and enjoying the countryside despite their disability. The walks are less than a mile long and carefully worked out to suit the group’s needs. Stroud Valleys Project arranged to train 20 volunteers as hearing guides, who can offer support and countryside interpretation. BSL signing can be provided if necessary. Each walk has a different wildlife or natural history angle and most walks end in one of local cafés. Lifts can be arranged.
