CamBats flying

Saturday 19 August

8.00 pm - 10.00 pm approx.

Come along and enjoy a talk & walk about local Bat species that we hope to hear and possibly see before dusk in around the Rackleaze Wetland site, a wildlife oasis managed by Stroud Valleys Project. We will be meeting at Cam Parish Council Office at 8pm where we will meet Ms Nadine Symkatz-Kloss, a locally based ecologist and bat expert.

Stroud Valleys Project organise a number of bat walks locally to encourage people to see and hear bats in their natural environment organised by local bat groups, wildlife trusts and other organisations.

These events take place during or around International Bat Weekend August 27th & 28th. Organised by Bat Conservation Trust these events are an annual celebration of bats.

Booking essential for this FREE event as numbers are limited (20). However donations are really appreciated.
