WILDWATCH! - BIRDS AT HOLYWELL ORCHARD, CAM :

During the spring and summer, we'll be visiting Holywell Orchard every 2 months to record what birds are thriving and surviving thanks to this traditional old orchard. Local bird expert, Ray Sherman, will be leading these visits and sharing his knowledge.  Cost : £3/adult & £2/child, or £2/adult & £1/child for SVP Friends

It's not too late to take part in this year's survey if you have a pond in Cainscross.  We started this survey last year to get a better picture of the network of ponds where wetland wildlife can flourish.  If you'd like to join in, please phone or call in to get a copy of the survey form and a FREE A3 colour pond poster.

Feast your eyes on the amazing display of blluebell carpets, coupled with the lovely smell of wild garlic.  Please wear walking boots and waterproofs if necessary.

Come to the nature reserve where there is a rich butterfly population, including the Large Blue which was recently reintroduced. Site unsuitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs or those with a mobility problem

FENCE REPLACEMENT AT STRATFORD MILL:

Come and help us repair the ravages of last year's floods. We've moved most of the rubbish but need to replace the wooden fence. If you fancy a spot of digging then come along. Wear old clothes and stout boots, tools will be provided
